Cross Flashing SE ; X8 to W8

*This process will wipe the /data partition of your phone*

What you will need:
-Xperia X8 on Android 2.1
-A MicroUSB Cable
-Some brains :p

1. Root using this method: Click Here

2. Install Busybox
2.1. Go to Android Market
2.2. Search for 'busybox'
2.3. Download and install BusyBox by Stephen (Stericson)
2.4. Run the application (accept root request if asked)
2.5. Leave all options as default. Click 'Install' and wait until it's done.

3. Install xRecovery.
3.1. Download From Here
3.2. Copy it to your SDCard
3.3. Install with Astro FM
3.4. Click 'Install xRecovery' and wait until it's done.

4. Download W8 ROM
4.1. Download From Here

5. Copying W8 ROM
5.1. Connect your phone in USB mode in order to view the contents of SDCard
5.2. Make a new folder on SDCard called 'xRecovery'
5.3. Open the newly created folder and make a nother one named 'backup'
5.4. Extract the folder 'W8.2.1.1.A.0.46' from 'W8.2.1.1.A.0.46.zip' into xRecovery/backup/

6. Flashing W8 ROM
6.1. Turn your phone off
6.2. Turn it back on and while the Sony Ericsson screen is viewed, tap the 'back' key. This will make the phone boot into xRecovery
*Use VOLUME-UP and VOLUME-DOWN to browse, HOME to select, BACK to go back.*
6.3. Go down to 'Backup and restore' then 'Restore'
6.4. Now You should be able to select 'W8.2.1.1.A.0.46'
6.5. Select it. Accept the warning and wait until it's flashed.
6.6. After it's done press BACK key a few times in order to go the the main menu of xRecovery. Select 'Reboot phone'.

7. Success! Your X8 will now run W8 firmware.
